Membership in the Genealogical Society of Rowan County
Yearly membership rates are:
- Individual $20
- Family $25
- Sponsor $50
The calendar year begins January 1. We publish the Journal in the last month of each quarter and it is now also available electronically as a PDF.
Benefits of Membership
Members receive the quarterly journal and can submit queries for publication. At monthly meetings, listen to interesting speakers and share your passion for genealogy with other like-minded members. Several times each year the Society offers genealogy workshops to members and library patrons.
Society Meetings
The Society meets at Rowan County Public Library except when we visit local points of interest. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm, except August and December. In January and July we meet socially, usually at a local restaurant.

June 20 Field Trip to Rowan County Register of Deeds – meet at Register of Deeds – 402 N Main St #102, Salisbury, NC
