“Mamie” McCubbins 1874-1954
Mamie McCubbins was a tireless genealogical researcher, in part due to a unique connection to Rowan County records. She researched and documented relationships and events of the people of Old Rowan County. Her extensive notes, known as The McCubbins Collection, can be researched at the Rowan Public Library’s History Room. Without doubt, this collection is a wonderful finding aid for anyone researching North Carolina families.
